Emberline Saga is a classic-feeling role-playing game built for touch. You gather a party of four, explore a hand-painted world, and fight turn-based battles where positioning and status effects matter more than raw numbers. The story is told in small, well-written scenes that never overstay.
Combat is where it shines. Each character has a distinct role, and swapping skills between fights turns tough encounters into puzzles. We spent a good while just tuning our team before a boss, and that planning felt earned rather than busywork.
The grind is gentle and the autosave is reliable, which matters on a phone. A few menus could be snappier, but nothing here breaks the flow.
